Dr Abdulaziz Al Sayyari is an Investment Committee member for Taranis Capital's BioTech Growth Fund. He is the Managing Partner of BiSynergic and a former Executive Director of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA).

He is a globally recognised expert in regulatory biotech and cell and gene therapy (CGT), serving on International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) bodies. He played a pivotal role in shaping the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's national frameworks for advanced therapies, bridging policy and commercial objectives to localise innovation.

Dr Al Sayyari holds a PhD in Bioprocessing and an MBA from IMD Business School.
