Mr. Martorano is a seasoned executive with a successful track record built over 35 years of International Banking, Fintech industry disruptors and Finance experience. His career includes executive level leadership positions in Fintech Consultancy, NeoBanks, Commercial Banking, Private Banking, Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) and Cross-border contract negotiations. Mr. Martorano’s clients have included major international corporations, very wealthy families and governmental institutions. His multi-cultural, multi-lingual background has been valuable to his varied career and in his international postings in New York, Paris, Hong Kong, Dubai and London, where he has managed large teams of professionals on a global basis.
A “hands on” management style has been key to Mr. Martorano’s ability to launch new projects and initiatives, manage crisis situations successfully, turn-around otherwise non-performing teams and businesses and be a major change leader.
With a traditional banking career culminating as CEO of one of the largest Abu Dhabi banks based in London, Mr. Martorano is now dedicating his leadership experience, contacts and executive management expertise in bringing transformation to new fields of industry such as Fintech consulting, Neo banking, digitization of the Health Industry, Renewable Energy.
Most recently, as CEO of one of the newest and leading Fintech companies based in London and launched in Europe he has led the development of the bank’s vision along with a 5 year strategy and business plan, the core set of internal policies and procedures relating to Credit, 3 Lines of Defense, Product strategy and market segmentation as well as SMF functions’ roles and responsibilities. His direct interaction with IT platform providers, Management Consulting firms and Lawyers have been vital to the successful momentum of the project.
Mr. Martorano has been requested to speak at several events and lead round table discussions in various forums around the world throughout his career. He continues to participate in events at the invitation of industry as well as governmental institutions.
