He is a financial and management advisor, currently serving as the chair of a family office and CEO of another. In addition, he advises two entities in issuing Sukuk through regulated channels.
Since 2018, he has been the CEO of the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), where he oversees projects that foster competition, entrepreneurship, employment opportunities, and export potential. Under his leadership, ICD mobilizes additional resources, promotes the growth of Islamic finance, attracts co-financiers, and advises both governments and private sector organizations on the establishment, development, and modernization of private enterprises and capital markets.
Prior to his role at ICD, he served as CEO at Ibdar Bank and Alkhair Bank (formerly Unicorn Investment Bank), where he managed key strategic areas such as Corporate and Investment Banking, as well as Private Banking. From 2009 to 2014, he held the position of Managing Director and CEO at Barclays Saudi Arabia, where he also served as a board member. During his tenure, he implemented a series of innovative strategies that significantly enhanced the bank's profitability and success.
With a deep passion for finance and banking from a young age, he is fluent in Arabic, English, and German. He earned a BA in Finance from Eastern Michigan University in the U.S., which laid the foundation for his accomplished career in the financial sector.
