Andrea Dunlop is an international Executive, angel investor and non-executive Director. She was formerly CEO of Merchant Acquiring, a UK/ EU regulated business she established in 2013 for the Paysafe Group. With in-depth knowledge across many aspects of payments; Andrea is highly-regarded in the payments industry; she has been named one of ‘Most Influential Women in Payments in 2018’, Banking Technology’s ‘Woman in PayTech’ in 2018, ‘Payments Pioneer’ by the UK Payment Awards, voted in Payments Power 10, a list of the top ten influential contributors to the payments industry in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019
Having previously served as Chairwoman of the Emerging Payments Association’s Advisory Board for 3 years. Along with being a Board member for European Women in Payments Network, as well as holding previous seats on several industry forums including the Payment Systems Regulator in the UK. She is a passionate speaker and supporter of diversity and inclusion, as well as financial inclusion, championing and challenging the industry to deliver better financial products for the benefit of all.
Prior to joining Paysafe, Andrea ran her own consultancy in the financial services and payments sectors. Previous to that Andrea served 13 years in the Royal Air Force.
