Amjad is the acting CEO of the Saudi Conventions & Exhibitions General Authority, Executive Advisor for Strategic Projects at the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, delegate for Saudi Arabia at the Bureau International des Exposition in Paris (body responsible for Expos), Marketing & Comms Committee member at KFSH&RC, and member of the ExCom for all Expos under Ministry of Culture.
Previously, Amjad worked at Mobily as SVP Corporate Communications & Branding. He began his career as an Anchorman on Channel 2 of Saudi TV, was Executive Director Corporate Communications at Kingdom Holding Company, managed Corporate Communications for SAGIA, launched Buchanan Middle East as its CEO, worked at ACWA Power Projects as VP Corporate Communications, was the Country Manager for Pedersen & Partners, the General Manager for Corporate Communication at stc, and the Director of Communications at PIF. He also served as board member at the Saudi Media Monitoring Company.
